The push handle on the back of the chair allows for easy patient transport and side handles can lock the recline into any position for safe use by the patient, this feature is particularly favorable in maternity and neonatal units.

Staff were using two small rooms with a couch and static chair. They wanted to replace both pieces of furniture with one adjustable chair. Staff wanted the chair to be manual, height-adjustable, reclining, drop arms and removable head section converting the chair from a high back to a mid-back so the patient’s head and shoulders could be easily accessed.
